The Homestay Owners’ Story

In the early days, Mr. Khuong and Mrs. Thu were constantly burdened by worries of escaping poverty. In their small mountain village, life revolved around farming, and their only wish was to provide enough food for the family and a proper education for their children. Each day, the couple worked diligently on the fields, gathering bamboo shoots, picking vegetables, and catching fish to feed their family.
One day, they happened to meet an AOP team that came to survey opportunities for developing community-based tourism. That encounter awakened a new vision in them, inspiring the couple to start renovating their old wooden stilt house. They learned to cook, welcome guests, and share stories about their village while working. Every detail, every stone paving the yard, carries their dedication and belief in a brighter future.
“Every guest who comes is a new friend, bringing stories and joy to our little home among the mountains.”
