The host's Story

The host began this journey in 2023, when the AOP project came to the village to guide local people in developing community-based tourism. From just a few small training sessions, his family built their own homestay amid the tea hills, adding a clear blue swimming pool and a nearby hot spring pool where guests can relax and unwind. There are no sounds of traffic here — only the scent of tea, the whisper of the wind, and a deep sense of peace.

"At first saw others doing it, so did we. AOP taught cooking, welcoming guests, serving – then gradually understood, this is not just welcoming guests but preserving our village culture."

A challenging journey

His house is located separately from the village's homestay cluster, a short distance from the village center. Initially, everything was just an idea – lacking many things, but he was determined to do it.
